Become an SAT Teacher

Long Island Test Prep is looking for brilliant, enthusiastic, caring, and personable individuals to uphold our standard of excellence in test preparation. Teaching/tutoring SAT students is a fun way to earn money and to help kids live up to their potentials, while gaining intellectual self-confidence. Minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Superior scores on your own SAT
  • Bachelor's degree (higher degree preferred)
  • History of academic excellence and strong comfort with SAT level material
  • Experience in public speaking (before groups of 10 or more people)
  • Substantial teaching or training experience
  • Means to travel to class locations and/or student homes on Long Island
